Physician Relations Specialist (PRS)
Your front line, point person for increasing positive physician perceptions and driving preference for your hospital.
- The PRS is a highly qualified, full-time employee who is hired, trained, compensated and managed by Aegis.
- While technically an employee of Aegis, the PRS carries a hospital business card and is, in fact, the hospital representative responsible for executing the PRM strategy and serving as the liaison between the doctors and your hospital.
Management Support & Accountability
- Aegis will dedicate two high-level staff resources to manage your hospital’s PRM program.
- An Aegis vice president will provide oversight of the PRM strategy and its PRS, as well as frequent updates that include metrics and trends within the PRM program.
- An Aegis Market Specialist, will serve as an IT liaison for technical support, issue management, oversight of database development, ongoing database support and organization of special projects and sales campaigns.
Sales Planning & Management
- Aegis will develop and regularly evaluate a formal, written physician sales plan.
- Monthly and quarterly physician market reviews will assess physician sales targets as well as identify future activities and opportunities.
- We will create hospital-branded sales collateral targeting PCPs and educational articles that highlight hospital-aligned specialists.
PRISM Software
- The PRS will be trained to us access Aegis’ proprietary PRM software, developed specifically for collecting and tracking information about the needs of physicians.
- Aegis also provides PRISM training to other hospitals users, including annual updates and development upgrades.
Additional Comprehensive Reports
- Hospital contacts will receive a report of activities, physician issues and trends, market intelligence, and physician and practice profiles.
- Utilizing hospital benchmarking data and working closely with hospital personnel, Aegis can prepare an ROI analysis beginning 18 months after the program is implemented.
